Special Enrollment
If you have what is determined to be a qualifying event outside of the Open Enrollment period, you may be eligible to apply for coverage. The following are examples of events which may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period, if the event occurred in the past 60 days. In any of these situations, you will need to submit documents to verify you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period.
Marriage
Birth, adoption or foster care placement
Gained/became a dependent
Loss of qualifying coverage (may be reported up to 60 days in advance of loss of coverage)
Move to Mississippi
