Our Healthy You! benefit helps your employees take ownership of their health and understand their health risks. Healthy You! provides an annual visit with a Network Provider at no out-of-pocket cost. The covered screenings and immunizations are age and gender specific and help your employees "know their numbers" for blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar and weight. Once employees know their health risks, they can work with their Network Provider to manage their risks through lifestyle changes and medication therapy.

When health risks are identified early, illnesses can be managed and often prevented. This means lower healthcare costs for you and your employees.

Tobacco use and second-hand smoke dramatically impact healthcare costs -- and are risks that can be prevented. Network Blue has lower premiums for companies that are tobacco-free. Through our "be smoke-free" tobacco-cessation program, we can provide our expertise and support to help your employees who choose to quit. This 90-day tobacco cessation program is provided at no cost to you or your employees enrolled in Network Blue.

Many times your employees may be unsure if an illness or minor injury warrants a physician visit or even a trip to the emergency room. With the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Nurse Advice Line, medical advice is available free of charge, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Registered nurses are available to answer your employees' questions, and there is also a library of pre-recorded medical information.

Network Blue gives you calendar-year deductible, office visit copay, prescription drug copay and coinsurance percentage options.
